ANNOUNCEMENTS
Attention Students- Powder Puff Volleyball is happening on Wednesday, May 21st! Gather your friends & form your teams. Each team must include at least 1 coach. Pick up your sign-up sheet in Mrs. Lumadue’s room. Forms must be turned in by Monday, May 19th. It’s $2 per person, including coaches, so please make sure all money is submitted with your form. Get ready for some fun & friendly competition!
Mr. Minarchick’s pd 3 & 8/9 will be a study hall today. Students should report to the main gym. DO NOT go to the locker rooms.
POHS Drama Club is having their banquet this Friday, May 16th at the POHS cafeteria from 6pm-10pm. All cast & crews from Alice & Matilda ae invited. No parents or outside guests ...this is a recognition of the student's with seniors receiving their grad pins & stars, student leaders getting gifts, everyone getting fun awards, & a dance with DJ Brady B. There will be a potluck dinner. Sign up outside room 200 for item to bring. This banquet is semi-formal.
The last Illustrator's Club for the school year will be today in Room 230 until 3:45.
The Districtwide Art Show will be held this weekend on Saturday from 11-3 and Sunday from 12-3. Come support the P-O Visual Arts.
Students!! We need your votes! Several of your fellow P-O students have shared their poetry with us! They are posted outside the cafeteria and in the library showcase. Please vote this week for your favorite using your phone—again, they’re outside the cafeteria or outside the library in the showcase!
Students needing community service hours- There will be a road clean-up at the Wallaceton Moose on Saturday, May 17th. See Mr. Kolbe for details.
**GUIDANCE: **Attention Seniors- Scholarship applications are now available in the Counseling Office.
**Osceola Mills Veterans Organization: Applicants must be related to a current or past member of the military, past members of the military must have been honorably discharged. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled in a two-year or four-year program of post secondary study. Deadline May 15, 2025.**
**Bryan Gregory Ennis Memorial Scholarship: Applicant must be a 2025 High School Graduate, and planning to continue their education after graduation. Applicant must show proof of acceptance to receive the scholarship award. Deadline: May 16, 2025.**
**Bill Dix Music Scholarship: Must be a senior at POHS, must display a genuine love of music. Deadline: May 16, 2025.**
**ATHLETICS: Girls Varsity Softball dismissal at 1:00; Coed Track dismissal at 2:00 today.**
**HOME ATHLETIC EVENTS for today: Girls Varsity Softball at 4:30.**

**TODAY FOR LUNCH: The Bravo Bar on the left side of the cafeteria will be this week will be an Asian Bar. Choices may include Grilled or Breaded Chicken topped w/Sweet & Sour, General Tso, Asian, or Orange Sauce over a bed of Rice or Lo Mein & Veggies. The right side of the cafeteria will be offering- Pepperoni Pizza Flatbread, Green Beans, Cucumber Slices, Fruit, & Milk. **Breakfast and lunch are free to all students. Please take a fruit or juice with your breakfast so that it is considered free. Also, at lunch take at least one or all three of the following a fruit, a juice and a veggie or you will be charged for your lunch. This is mandated by the government in order for it to be free.
