ANNOUNCEMENTS

Mr. Lazauskas’ gym classes will be a study hall today. Students should report to the main gym. Do not go to the locker rooms.

There will be a brief Student Council meeting in Mrs. Lumadue's room Friday after school to plan for trunk-or-treat.  Please plan to attend.

Hey Seniors- Don’t forget to vote for your favorite Prom theme on your Google Classroom by the end of the day today.

Gatsby Gala is currently in the lead!!

The blood mobile will be held at POHS on Monday, October 20th.  You can scan the QR code to sign up, see Mrs. Lumadue or sign up during lunches starting October 8th.  You must be 16 or older to donate.  All 16 year old’s will need a parental permission form turned in before donating.  Please help save a life and donate if you can!

GUIDANCE:

College Visits- Sign up in the Main Office-

Wilson College- Thursday, October 23rd- 8:30AM.

Mount Aloysius- Tuesday, October 28th- 1:30PM.

Lycoming College- Friday, October 31st- 1:00PM.

ATHLETICS: Boys Varsity Football at Tyrone- 7:00.

Students who have lettered in a varsity sport:

Letterman Jacket Fittings will be on October 21, 2025 during all lunch shifts in the hallway outside of the cafeteria.

A $150.00 deposit is required at the time of the fitting. Please make checks or money orders payable to: PO Letterwinner’s Club.

Only checks and money orders will be accepted — no cash.

HOME ATHLETIC EVENTS for today:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to: Summer Zendeck, Brody Hann, Henry Matia, Ryan Kolbe, Katelyn Dixon, Raylee Reynolds, Emmalyn Showers, & Katie Templeton.

TODAY FOR LUNCH: The Bravo Bar on the left side of the cafeteria will be offering Cyclone Street Noodles. Lo Mein Noodles served w/choice of Chicken or Pork, Stir-Fry Cabbage, Sautéed Red Pepper, Veggie Stir-Fry, or Steamed Broccoli. Tossed w/Sweet Chili, Soy Garlic, or Orange Sauce. The right side of the cafeteria will be offering- Baha Fish Sandwich on a Whole Grain Bun, Roasted BBQ Cauliflower, Side Salad, Fruit, & Milk.

Breakfast and lunch are free to all students again this year.  Please remember at breakfast, to take 3 of the 4 items. You must take at least ½ cup fruit or veggie with your breakfast. Also at lunch you must take at least 3 of the 5 components available which has to include a ½ cup of fruit or veggies. If you don't have a fruit or veggie you will be charged for a lunch.
