Communicating can be done through verbal speech, sign language, facial expressions, a speech device, a combination of the listed, and much more.<br /> Pictured is our middle school and high school speech therapist, Paige Kerin, and a student, Brody. <br /> Mrs. Kerin wanted to give a special shout-out because he is a big reason she became certified in LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning)! LAMP Words for Life is the app Brody uses a lot of the time to communicate. Mrs. Kerin says all her students push her to be a better therapist, but Brody surprises her so much every time she sees him. He is one of those students who “just make job her job worth doing.”</div></div>

Families were invited to the event to enjoy a night of reading and fun.  All students who attended received a new book.  All attendees received a bag with items to build a s'more.  Students could read with flashlights, enjoy making bookmarks, and participate in a campfire crossword puzzle challenge.  There were guest student readers throughout the night.  Families were als...o informed about the Title I Program in the Philipsburg Osceola Area School District.  Principal Justin Fye presented information on how funding is utilized to support reading instructors and math and reading curriculum.  There were approximately 125 people who attended the event.<br /> Reading Buddies<br /> 3rd grade students in Mrs. Tina Smay's class recently visited Windy HIll Village to read to the residents.</div></div>

Parent drop-off is now on the opposite side of the school. It will be outside the cafeteria. Drop off is between 7:25-7:45am

Parent pick-up remains the same as last year. After busses have departed students will be picked up in front of the school.

High Five

POMS students performed in Dear Edwina Jr. All three performances were well done! Way to go everyone!

POMS Spring Musical

POMS Jr. High Band members practice the drums.

Students in Mr. Wood's Engineering Class finished a project that had to include 5 'simple machines' to crack an egg. All students got to showcase their finished prolect on Friday, February 23.

Mr. Wood's Positive Action group finished up a project today!

P-O students are brightening up the downstairs basement with creative and colorful murals!

Students earning their Positive Behavior Reward got a treat bag and were able to enjoy free time in the gymnasium socializing with staff and friends!

POMS students enjoyed a Camfel Productions assembly on Wednesday, October 4.

Students were motivated to overcome fear of failure, persevere during tough times,  create a culture of encouragement and work hard to acheive personal goals!
