ANNOUNCEMENTS

Social Issues Club would like to start the new year off with kindness! After we return from break, we will be creating Kindness Bags to support people who are experiencing homelessness, and we’d like your help. Each advisory is invited to collect small comfort and care items that will be packed into bags and donated. The advisory that collects the most items will win a pizza party lunch (with pizza and dessert) from Mrs. Trate! Collection, and the competition, will take place between January 5 – January 16.

The open weight room session from 3:30-4:30 is cancelled after school today and tomorrow. Sorry for any inconveniences.

​

Get your last minute Christmas shopping done at the Mountie Market today. The Mountie Market will be open all three lunch periods! And watch out because Santa’s Helper, Rossi the Elf may be around giving out Gift Cards!!!

​

There are a few alternatives to students who do not wish to attend the auction on Tuesday.    One is a Mario Kart Challenge, and the other two are movies.

Sign-ups are outside the cafeteria and in the library.  Students must sign up by the end of the day today.   Space is limited.

​

​GUIDANCE:

Gladys Tozier Scholarship: The applicant must be a resident of Clearfield county. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of need, scholarship and character. Please stop in the Guidance office for more information. Deadline: March 20, 2026.

​

Clearfield Jefferson Suicide Prevention Scholarship: This scholarship will be presented annually to two deserving seniors in Clearfield or Jefferson counties. This scholarship is an effort to encourage those that are dedicated to helping with the prevention of suicide. For more information see Mrs. Lancaste in the Guidance Office. Deadline March 31, 2026.

HOME ATHLETIC EVENTS for today: Boys Jr. High Basketball at 5:00; Boys JV Basketball at 6:00; Boys Varsity Basketball at 7:15.

TODAY FOR LUNCH: There is no Bravo Bar this week. Both sides of the cafeteria will be offering- Hot Turkey Sandwich w/Gravy & Mashed Potatoes, Fruit, & Milk.

Breakfast and lunch are free to all students again this year.  Please remember at breakfast, to take 3 of the 4 items. You must take at least ½ cup fruit or veggie with your breakfast. Also at lunch you must take at least 3 of the 5 components available which has to include a ½ cup of fruit or veggies. If you don't have a fruit or veggie you will be charged for a lunch.
